Eosinophil, mast cell and basophil microparticle in nasal lavage fluids as potential biomarkers for type 2 inflammation in chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps

Microparticles (MP) are large extracellular vesicles (0.5-1.0 μm) that are released from activated cells. Eosinophils, mast cells and basophils play roles in type 2 inflammation in nasal mucosa in chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP).
