Low Levels of Carotenoids in Maternal Serum and Breast Milk Associate with the Development of Atopic Dermatitis in Infancy
Although it has been shown that maternal intake of vegetables during pregnancy was associated with a decrease in the odds of eczema, the association between maternal and infant carotenoid levels and the development of Atopic dermatitis (AD) in infancy is not clear.
