Monogenic diabetes mellitus hidden in autoantibody-negative diabetes mellitus

Thus, a diagnosis of monogenic diabetes mellitus should be considered and genetically tested for in this group of patients, even if the clinical criteria for monogenic diabetes mellitus are not met.
