EE47 Short-Term Cost-Effectiveness of Using Mobile Stroke Unit VS. Standard Ambulance for Patients with Suspected Stroke

Mobile stroke units (MSUs) have the potential to improve time-sensitive stroke care delivery by appropriate triage of patients with large-vessel-occlusion (LVO) to comprehensive stroke centers (CSCs) for endovascular treatment (EVT) and non-LVO patients to primary stroke centers (PSCs). The purpose of this study was to determine the cost-effectiveness of MSU when compared to the standard ambulance (SA) transport of suspected stroke patients to the appropriate hospital.
