Endoluminal Functional Lumen Imaging Probe Is Safe in Children Under Five Years Old

Background: Endoluminal functional lumen imaging probe (EndoFLIP) is a minimally invasive, novel device that uses high-resolution impedance planimetry to measure important parameters of the gastrointestinal lumen that aid in the diagnosis of esophageal disorders. EndoFLiP is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for children 5 years and older.
