Conclusion With the use of intraoperative neuronavigation, the STA, MMA and their main branches, as well as their relationship to the bone, can be identified and preserved. This approach can help i n preventing undesirable injury to TC during surgery, and may potentially prevent peri-opertaive stroke in patients with moyamoya vasculopathy undergoing revascularization surgery.
