Factors that Influence the Clinical Implementation of Aerobic Exercise in Stroke Rehabilitation: a Theory-Informed Qualitative Study

Immediate effect of standing and sit-to-stand training on postural vertical for backward disequilibrium following stroke: a case report
CONCLUSION: Standing and sit-to-stand/stand-to-sit training aimed at shifting center of gravity and subjective postural vertical in the anterior direction appeared to improve backward disequilibrium and correct tilt to the anterior direction for this participant. Isotemporal Substitution of Sedentary Behavior with Moderate- to Vigorous- Physical Activity Is Associated with Lower Risk of Disability: A Prospective Longitudinal Cohort Study
CONCLUSIONS: Replacing SB with MVPA was associated with a lower risk of disability. These findings are helpful for establishing disability prevention strategies.IMPACT: These results suggest that feasible changes in daily behavior, such as replacing 10 minutes of SB with MVPA daily, might have a protective effect on disability incidence.
