Outcomes of systemic bevacizumab in radiation-induced optic neuropathy, case series
ConclusionSystemic bevacizumab may stabilize vision in some patients with RION, though the limitations of our study do not allow us to draw this conclusion definitively. Therefore, the risks and potential benefits of using IV bevacizumab should be considered in each individual case.

Transcranial magnetic stimulation for post-operative neurorehabilitation in neuro-oncology: a review of the literature and future directions
ConclusionsAlthough data are overall limited, both safety and effectiveness have been demonstrated for the use of rTMS for neurorehabilitation in the neuro-oncologic population. More randomized controlled trials and specific comparisons of contralateral versus ipsilateral rTMS protocols should be explored. Further work may also focus on individualized, patient-specific TMS treatment protocols for optimal functional recovery.

Relationship between 7T MR-angiography features of vascular injury and cognitive decline in young brain tumor patients treated with radiation therapy
ConclusionsArterial volume is reduced with increasing CMB presence and is influenced by the total brain volume exposed to radiation. This work highlights the potential use of vascular-derived metrics as non-invasive markers of treatment-induced injury and cognitive impairment in pediatric brain tumor patients.

Contrast enhancing spots as a new pattern of late onset pseudoprogression in glioma patients
ConclusionWe hypothesize that the late onset phenomenon of NCES predominantly represents a form of radiation-induced vasculopathy that is different from early pseudoprogression and should be considered especially in younger patients with IDH-mutated glioma before initiation of new therapy.

ConclusionSeveral clinical and radiologic metrics are associated with diffuse gliomas that are missed or misdiagnosed on the initial neuroimaging study. Knowledge of these associations may aid in avoiding misinterpretation and accurately diagnosing such cases in clinical practice.

Ischemic stroke after radiation therapy for pituitary adenomas: a systematic review
In conclusion, complications of cerebral ischemia after radiotherapy for pituitary adenoma are infrequently reported. Moreover, after correction for several confounders, no significant difference in ischemic stroke rate between irradiated and non-irradiated patients could be identified.

Reduced-volume radiotherapy for patients with localized intracranial nongerminoma germ cell tumors
We examined outcomes of NGGCT patients receiving reduced-volume RT at a single institution. Records of 16 patients who received reduced-volume RT as part of definitive treatment between 1996 and 2016 were reviewed. Median age at presentation was 10.8 years (range 4.6 –41.0 years). Ten patients had pineal tumors and 6 had suprasellar tumors. All received chemotherapy and 9 patients received second-look surgery thereafter.
