Mobile health-technology integrated care in atrial fibrillation patients with heart failure: A report from the mAFA-II randomized clinical trial
CONCLUSION: A mHealth-technology implemented ABC pathway provides consistent effects on the risks of primary outcome, rehospitalisation and bleeding, in AF patients both with and without HF. However, AF-HF patients may need tailored approaches to improve their overall prognosis, specifically to reduce the risk of recurrent AF, HF and acute coronary syndrome.PMID:36347740 | DOI:10.1016/j.ejim.2022.11.002

Temporal relationship between hyperuricemia and hypertension and its impact on future risk of cardiovascular disease
CONCLUSION: Increased SUA levels probably precede elevated BP, and BP partially mediates the pathway from SUA to incident CVD.PMID:36890009 | DOI:10.1016/j.ejim.2023.02.023

The initial timing and dosage pattern of sacubitril/valsartan in patients with acute myocardial infarction undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention
CONCLUSIONS: Early use or high dosage of sacubitril/valsartan medication is associated with an improvement in clinical outcome. The low dose of sacubitril/valsartan is well tolerated and may be an acceptable alternative strategy.PMID:36990878 | DOI:10.1016/j.ejim.2023.03.019
