Efficacy and safety of electroacupuncture for secondary constipation: a systematic review and meta-analysis
ConclusionAccording to the current studies, the overall relief rate of patients with secondary constipation after electroacupuncture treatment was improved, the defecation pressure score was reduced, the weekly natural defecation was more complete, and adverse reactions were not increased. Electroacupuncture therefore shows potential for treating constipation, but more high-quality studies are needed to confirm these findings.

ConclusionsColorectal cancer patients are at an increased risk of developing CVD, especially coronary heart disease, during the first 3  years following colorectal cancer diagnosis.

ConclusionsUC and CD do not appear to be associated with a higher risk of mortality or increased healthcare usage in AIS. AIS risk assessment in patients with IBD is important but should be done in a similar fashion to the general population.

ConclusionThe study did not show an improved 30-day survival after surgery for colorectal cancer in patients treated with statins in the year preceding surgery. No overall association with the risk of postoperative complications was shown.
