Prognostic value of preoperative electrocardiography in predicting myocardial injury after vascular surgery
CONCLUSION: This study confirmed that preoperative ECG abnormalities are frequent in patients undergoing high-risk vascular surgery. However, we did not find evidence supporting relation between preoperative ECG abnormalities and postoperative adverse cardiac outcomes in high risk patients.PMID:35344585 | DOI:10.33963/KP.a2022.0085

Predictors of atrial tachyarrhythmias in adults with congenital heart disease.
CONCLUSIONS:  In patients with CHD, the main risk factors for AT are RA dilatation, high subpulmonary ventricular systolic pressure and significant tricuspid regurgitation. The presence of AT may increase the risk of adverse cardiac events. PMID: 33047943 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Spectrum of transthyretin gene mutations and clinical characteristics of Polish patients with cardiac transthyretin amyloidosis.
CONCLUSIONS: According to available research, this is the first time types of TTR mutations and clinical characteristics of Polish patients with cardiac hereditary ATTR have been reported. Previous literature data about Polish background in families with p.Phe53Leu mutation and the present results, suggest that this TTR mutation might be endemic in the Polish population.
