Ten year experience of using a novel metabolic protocol in 'off pump' coronary artery bypass revascularization
Conclusions: Off-pump coronary artery bypass coupled with this novel metabolic protocol was associated with a low operative mortality and acceptable perioperative morbidities, including patients with left main coronary artery disease. These benefits are apparent at both short- and medium-term follow up.

Protective effects of corticosteroids in coronary artery bypass graft surgery alone or combined with valvular surgery: an updated and comprehensive meta-analysis and systematic review
This systematic review with meta-analysis sought to determine the protective effects of corticosteroids on clinical outcomes following coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Medline, Embase, Elsevier and Sciences online database as well as Google scholar literature were used for selecting appropriate studies with randomized controlled design.
