Endovascular retrograde approach may be a better option for acute tandem occlusions stroke.
Conclusion For acute tandem occlusion stroke, favourable outcomes were better in patients undergoing retrograde therapy than in patients who received the anterograde approach. Rate of periprocedural stroke in diagnostic cerebral angiograms comparing transradial versus transfemoral access
CONCLUSION: In our experience, using transradial access for diagnostic cerebral angiograms was associated with a low but not negligible incidence of periprocedural strokes. Patient anatomy should be evaluated prior to selection of vascular access. Emergent extracranial internal carotid artery stenting and mechanical thrombectomy in acute ischaemic stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: Treatment of tandem extracranial ICA and intracranial occlusions in the setting of acute ischaemic stroke with extracranial carotid artery stenting followed by adjunctive intracranial mechanical thrombectomy is both safe and effective, but further evaluation of this treatment modality is necessary. Mechanical thrombectomy in pediatric acute ischemic stroke: Clinical outcomes and literature review.
In this study, we report two cases of pediatric acute ischemic stroke treated with mechanical thrombectomy, both with good angiographic result (TICI 3) and clinical outcome (no neurological deficits at 90 days). In addition, we conducted a literature review of all previously reported cases describing the use of modern thrombectomy devices. Including our two cases, the aggregate rate of partial or complete vessel recanalization was 100% (22/22), and the aggregate rate of favorable clinical outcome was 91% (20/22). Successful recanalization using the Embolus Retriever with Interlinked Cage for acute stroke due to calcified cerebral emboli.
We describe a case of a mechanical thrombectomy with the Embolus Retriever with Interlinked Cage (ERIC) device in a patient with an acute ischemic stroke due to calcified cerebral emboli in the middle cerebral artery. Emergent carotid artery stenting in patients with acute ischemic stroke due to cervical internal carotid artery steno-occlusive lesion: Comparison of tandem intracranial occlusion and isolated cervical internal carotid artery occlusion.
CONCLUSIONS: Endovascular treatment in patients with acute ischemic stroke due to cervical internal carotid artery steno-occlusive lesion is a technically feasible and clinically effective intervention regardless of intracranial occlusion. Therefore, we recommend endovascular treatment regardless of the presence of concomitant intracranial artery occlusion for patients with acute ischemic stroke caused by cervical internal carotid artery steno-occlusive lesion. Influence of carotid tortuosity on internal carotid artery access time in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke.

Initial experience with the novel EmboTrap II clot-retrieving device for the treatment of ischaemic stroke.

Procedural approaches and angiographic signs predicting first-pass recanalization in patients treated with mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischaemic stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: The concurrence of the PBGC, the push and fluff technique, and the ACPS was associated with the highest rates of cFPE. ADAPT technique in ischemic stroke treatment of M2 middle cerebral artery occlusions in comparison to M1 occlusions: Post  hoc analysis of the PROMISE study.

Exophthalmos following mechanical thrombectomy for anterior circulation stroke: A retrospective study and review of literature.
