CONCLUSION: Platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) is a simple, cost effective and easily obtainable novel inflammatory marker that may help in predicting the severity of disease and prognosis in terms of functional outcome as evidenced by its increased value in patients of acute ischemic stroke as well as its linear positive correlation with NIHSS score.PMID:34227777

Role of ACE Polymorphism in Acute Ischemic Stroke
Conclusions: Our study showed a strong association between ACE polymorphism and the risk of AIS. This study paves the way for further studies to confirm the role of ACE polymorphism as genetic risk factors for AIS.

Influence of Sex Difference on Distribution of Risk Factors and Etiologic Subtypes of Acute Ischemic Stroke: Reality of Facts
Conclusion: Significant sex-related differences were found in risk factors and subtypes of AIS in our cohort of patients. Findings of our study are in general comparable with studies from all over the world.

Conclusion: Our study showed a differential distribution of CMB in ischemic stroke subtypes and association of risk factors with the presence, number and location of CMB.
