Effects of an Infection Control Protocol for Coronavirus Disease in Emergency Mechanical Thrombectomy
CONCLUSION: The COVID-19 protection protocol significantly impacted the door-to-imaging time. Shortening the door-to-imaging time and performing the procedure under local anesthesia, if possible, may be required to reduce the door-to-puncture and doorto- recanalization times. Comparative Analysis of COVID-19 Outbreak and Changes in Neurosurgical Emergency Patients
CONCLUSION: Due to the occurrence of COVID-19, non-essential activities have decreased and trauma cases not associated with traffic accidents appeared to decrease. Due to the decrease in overall activity, the number of stroke patients has also decreased.
