Simvastatin improves cardiac function through Notch1 activation in BALB/c mice with chronic Chagas cardiomyopathy.
Conclusions and Implications: Simvastatin, probably acting through the Notch1 pathway, decreases inflammation, improving cardiac function in chronically T. cruzi-infected mice.
