Seeing the good in the bad: actual clinical outcome of thrombectomy stroke patients with formally unfavorable outcome
ConclusionDichotomizing the mRS into favorable and unfavorable outcome does not do justice to the full spectrum of stroke. Patients with formal unfavorable outcome after mRS can improve neurologically, achieve treatment goals, and even regain their admission or pre-stroke mRS.

Use of intracranial stent as rescue therapy after mechanical thrombectomy failure —9-year experience in a comprehensive stroke centre
ConclusionPlacement of an intracranial stent as rescue therapy after MT failure was associated with better clinical outcome without significant increase in haemorrhagic complications. We believe that this procedure should be appraised in these patients.
