P53 ESMINT/EYMINT E-fellowship - experiences from two seasons and implications for future neurointerventional tele-observerships
ConclusionsTele-observerships may facilitate location-independent training of complex neurointerventional procedures through high levels of situational awareness. Future programs will have to incorporate individual training schedules to enable fellows to better attend complex elective procedures.ReferencesBechstein M, Elsheikh S, Wodarg F, et al. P78 How far is too far in stroke thrombectomy? From XL to XS vessel occlusions with radially adjustable stent-retrievers - Tigertriever XL and Tigertriever 13
ConclusionMechanical thrombectomy for both primary or secondary DMVO seems feasible and as safe as for LVO. Our initial experience using the Tigertriever13 is of special interest as it shows we can potentially significantly expand AIS population that can benefit from mechanical thrombectomy treatment.ReferencesGuenego A, Mine B, Bonnet T, et al. P80 Aspiration thrombectomy of acute ischemic stroke patients with anterior circulation tandem lesion
ConclusionsAspiration thrombectomy restored blood flow and resulted in good 90-day functional outcome in AIS patients with anterior circulation tandem lesion. The 90-day mortality rate in these patients was low. Clinical outcomes were similar between patients with and without stent. P89 "Not only Carotid: two unusual cases of treatment of steno-obstructions

Addition of intracranial aspiration to balloon guide catheter does not improve outcomes in large vessel occlusion anterior circulation stent retriever based thrombectomy for acute stroke
Conclusions Our data showed that addition of distal intracranial aspiration catheters to BGC+SR based thrombectomy in patients with acute anterior circulation LVO did not provide higher rates of FPE or improved clinical outcomes.

O-007 First US multicenter experience using the pipeline flex embolization device with shield technology for treatment of intracranial aneurysms - periprocedural outcomes and early safety profile
ConclusionOur study is the first to report the early experience with the newly FDA-approved PED Flex with Shield technology amongst US centers. Our results are comparable with non-US, international studies showing a high technical success rate and safe peri-procedural angiographic and patient outcome. Long-term follow-up will be needed to provide more robust data on angiographic and patient outcomes.Disclosures A. Kuhn: None. J. Singh: None. A. Abdelsalam: None. V. Saini: None. J. Burks: None. G. O-008 The cerus trial: contour for bifurcation aneurysms
The Contour is a novel intra-aneurysmal flow disrupting device to treat intracranial aneurysms. To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Contour in nonruptured intracranial bifurcation aneurysms, we conducted a prospective, multicenter, single-arm study on thirty-four patients. The primary end points were occlusion status at 6 and 12 months as well as major stroke within 6 mo. Secondary end points were retreatment rate, procedure time, and procedure-related/device-related adverse events. An independent core lab reviewed all the images. Adverse events were reviewed by a clinical events committee.32 of 34 aneurysms wer...

O-012 Peri-procedural complications, clinical outcomes and recurrence/retreatment rates after endovascular versus surgical treatment of intracranial aneurysms: a real-world assessment from the NVQI-QOD cerebral aneurysm registry
ConclusionEndovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms was associated with better overall clinical outcomes than surgical clipping with improved disability free survival and better disposition at discharge or follow-up, across both ruptured and unruptured aneurysms. Although intraoperative complications were higher for ruptured aneurysms treated with endovascular treatment, there was no difference in unruptured aneurysms versus surgical clipping. Post-operative complications were lower for the endovascular cohort regardless of presentation. Overall, these data support ongoing primary adoption of endovascular treatment ...
