ConclusionOur study is the first to report the early experience with the newly FDA-approved PED Flex with Shield technology amongst US centers. Distal cerebral vasospasm treatment following aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage using the Comaneci device: technical feasibility and single-center preliminary results
Conclusion This initial experience suggests that distal mechanical angioplasty performed with the Comaneci-17 device for refractory vasospasm following aSAH seems to be safe, with good feasibility and efficacy.

Distribution of symptomatic cerebral vasospasm following subarachnoid hemorrhage assessed using cone-beam CT angiography
Conclusions Our study demonstrated that symptomatic cerebral vasospasm following aSAH did not involve arteries smaller than 900 µm, and frequently predominated in middle or distal segments. These results offer new insights into the potential management options for vasospasm using PBA.

ConclusionsFDS appear to be a safe and effective tool for reconstruction of a symptomatic dissection in tortuous cervical ICAs.
