E-161 Transradial arterial access for neurointervention: the basics, benefits, and tools
Transradial access (TRA) is a feasible method for interventional neurovascular procedures, gaining popularity after becoming the standard access route in cardiovascular interventions. While advantages of TRA include better safety, cost reduction, and patient experience, barriers include a narrow variety of dedicated equipment for radial to neurovascular target vessels, need for further training for physicians and fellows, and physician bias toward Transfemoral access (TFA) due to training and familiarity. This educational poster focuses on the general technical details of TRA, including discussion of the TRA and distal TRA ...

E-186 Assessing congruency of first pass effect on outcomes in mechanical thrombectomy for large vessel occlusions via unsupervised machine learning
This study was approved by the local institutional review board (IRB). Clustered outcomes to formulate clusters included the number of passes, the final reperfusion obtained, the discharge NIHSS, and complications. FPE was defined as TICI 2C or 3 reperfusions on the first pass. Uniform manifold approximations and projections (UMAP) and K-means unsupervised clustering were done to identify outcome clusters. Logistic regression with and without interaction coefficients was used to determine associated factors with cluster membership or FPE. P-values less than 0.05 were considered significant.Results287 consecutive patients w...

E-223 Improved time to diagnosis with portable MR imaging
ConclusionPortable MRI is a promising innovation with the aim to expand patient access and improve diagnostic times so that critical and potential lifesaving imaging diagnoses can be promptly treated with the urgency that is required. While initial analysis provides evidence that portable MRI has advantages over conventional MRI systems including workflow efficiency and improved patient imaging times, this will need to be compared to the unfortunate negative drawbacks of lessened image resolution and limited imaging sequences that come with the convenience of portable MRI systems. If the hypothesis is further corroborated,...

P-008 Probabilistic ensemble learning for prediction of stroke thrombectomy outcomes from the neurovascular quality initiative-quality outcomes database (NVQI-QOD) registry
ConclusionsThis study demonstrates the utility of probabilistic ensemble learning in clinical decision-making and prognosis. It can provide robust predictions as well as quantify data uncertainty. Our results regarding NIHSS changes reinforce the substantial benefits of MT, that can improve outcomes in nearly half of patients. The degree of disability relevant to the 90-day follow-up mRS can be determined by probabilistic learning available as early as discharge.Disclosures C. Zhou: None. S. Faruqui: None. A. Patel: None. Automated detection of arterial landmarks and vascular occlusions in patients with acute stroke receiving digital subtraction angiography using deep learning
Conclusion These results may serve as an unbiased standard for clinical stroke trials, as optimal standardization would be useful for core laboratories in endovascular thrombectomy studies, and also expedite decision-making during DSA-based procedures.

Prediction of bleb formation in intracranial aneurysms using machine learning models based on aneurysm hemodynamics, geometry, location, and patient population
Conclusions Based on the premise that aneurysm characteristics prior to bleb formation resemble those derived from vascular reconstructions with their blebs virtually removed, machine learning models can identify aneurysms prone to bleb development with good accuracy. Pending further validation with longitudinal data, these models may prove valuable for assessing the propensity of IAs to progress to vulnerable states and potentially rupturing.

O16 Mechanical thrombectomy practices in Europe: results from an international survey from the ESMINT society
ConclusionsThis European survey emphasizes the variety of practices regarding thrombectomy at the level of countries, centers and across practitioners. Even if most centers remain understaffed to ensure actual and future needs for MT, most of TCSC are actively training young INR.ReferencesGoyal, Mayank et al.
