P-009 Reperfusion injury after endovascular thrombectomy may be related to pre-treatment infarct topography
ConclusionsGreater basal ganglia infarct volume was associated with a higher risk of HT when accounting for infarct volumes in other regions. Susceptibility vessel sign was associated with basal ganglia infarct volume, which may be related to acute middle cerebral artery perforator occlusion.Disclosures R. P-011 Risk of intracranial hemorrhage associated with rescue intracranial stenting in patients who receive IV thrombolysis
ConclusionsIn this retrospective study of a 10-year experience at a high-volume comprehensive stroke center, our study shows that rescue stenting after failed mechanical thrombectomy in the setting of prior administration of IV thrombolysis appears to be associated with a higher rate of all types of intracranial hemorrhages, but similar rates of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage. 90-day functional status was better in the patients who received IV tPA, although the 90-day mortality was higher. Our report suggests that further larger studies are needed to determine the safety and efficacy of RS for failed mechanical thromb...

P-023 Initial experience with transcranial ultrasound through sonolucent cranioplasty after hemicraniectomy for ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke
ConclusionTranscranial ultrasound through large, customized sonolucent cranioplasty is safe and feasible after decompressive hemicraniectomy. This imaging technique may alleviate the cost, transport, and radiation burden of CT in select ICH patients.Abstract P-023 Figure 1Disclosures C. Rossitto: None. H. Tabani: None. A. Reynolds: None. P-028 Impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the intracranial aneurysm treatment and associated outcomes: a propensity score matching study
Conclusions and RelevanceThe COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the healthcare system and has led to changes in the treatment of various neurological conditions, including ICAs. The pandemic resulted in a shift in the treatment of SAH and an increase in endovascular procedures over open surgical clipping. COVID-19 infection has been associated with an increased risk of ischemic stroke and worsened outcomes for stroke patients. Further research is necessary to understand the long-term effects of the pandemic on the healthcare system and patient outcomes.Disclosures A. Ghaith: None. M. Ghanem: None. E. Greco: None....

E-006 U.S. health care system-wide transition from alteplase to tenecteplase before mechanical thrombectomy: functional outcomes, early reperfusion rates, intracranial bleeding and femoral access site complications
ConclusionsThe first-year experience demonstrates the effectiveness and safety of the transitioning from TPA to TNK. The higher early recanalization rates with TNK are striking. Additional studies are required to investigate whether TNK is superior to TPA in the setting of LVO stroke.Disclosures M. Collins: None. C. Schirmer: None. G. Weiner: None. O. Goren: None. I. E-020 Flow diversion for intracranial aneurysms: intracranial hemorrhage and thromboembolic complications in a multi-center cohort of 200 patients
ConclusionComplication rates in our study are comparable to previous reports, and our findings further support the general safety and efficacy of flow diversion. Despite a relatively large population, the low number of ICH and TE complications limit statistical significance. Further study of complications in more robust samples are needed. However, the descriptive understanding of these complications can help direction future investigations.Abstract E-020 Table 1ICH and TE Stratifications ICH Non-ICH p n=7 n=193 Hypertension 7 (100%) 97 (50.3%) 0.035 Currently Smoking 3 (42.9%) 28 (14.5%) 0.319 Mean Procedural Fluoroscopi...

E-025 The rate and predictors of 30-day readmission in patients treated for cerebral aneurysms: a large single-center study
ConclusionIn our study, risk factors for 30-day readmission were increasing BMI, cancer, increasing aneurysm width, and anticoagulation use. Future studies should focus on aneurysm dimensions and the use of blood thinners as the literature pertaining these predictors is still scarce.Abstract E-025 Table 1 Variables N(%) 30-day Readmission 36 (6.6) Cause of Readmission: Infection Stroke Re-Rupture Wound Dehiscence Seizures CSF Leak Hydrocephalus Headache Wound Area Swelling Groin Hematoma Pseudo meningocele 9 (25)11 (30.6)1 (2.8)1 (2.8)1 (2.8)1 (2.8)1 (2.8)7 (19.4)2 (5.6)1 (2.8)1 (2.8) Causes and Rate of ReadmissionAbstrac...

E-030 Incidence and risk factors for new seizure after ischemic stroke in a single institution series
DiscussionThe literature on new onset seizures after stroke describes a range of incidences and risk factors, as there is variation in the studied populations. Here we report the incidence of post-stroke seizures in all patients diagnosed with ischemic stroke in a 3-year period. The most significant predictor was hemorrhagic transformation, and this was driven by IPH.Disclosures K. Carroll: None. E. Federico: None. I. Stafstrom: None. E. Skinner: None. M. Maraghe: None. M. E-044 Long-term safety and efficacy of pipeline embolization device compared in anterior and posterior circulation aneurysms: a systematic review and meta-analysis
