O-022 General Anesthesia, Baseline ASPECTS, Time to Treatment, and IV TPA Impact Intracranial Hemorrhage after Stentriever Thrombectomy: Pooled Analysis from SWIFT PRIME, SWIFT and STAR Trials
ConclusionsHigher baseline ASPECTS, better collaterals and general anesthesia are associated with lower incidence of ICH after neurothrombectomy with Solitaire stentriever. Prolonged time to treatment increases the risk of parenchymal hematoma and hemorrhage in ischemic territory. Parenchymal hematoma is distinctly associated with IV TPA. Of all ICH subtypes, sICH has the strongest impact on functional independence.DisclosuresR. Raychev: None. J. Saver: 2; C; Medtronic, Stryker, Boehrniger, Neuravia. R. P-008 Evaluating Racial/Ethnic Disparity in Endovascular Thrombectomy Outcome for Acute Stroke Patients: 4,763 patients using Premier data 2011 to 2015
ConclusionsThere were no differences in hospital outcome among races/ethnicities in endovascular thrombectomy outcomes for acute stroke patients in the Premier data. Racial/ethnic disparities play role for patients’ selection not for patients’ outcome in endovascular thrombectomy.DisclosuresS. Park: None. M. Pilot: None. M. Unfavorable neurological outcome in diabetic patients with acute ischemic stroke is associated with incomplete recanalization after intravenous thrombolysis
Conclusions Diabetic patients with AIS had unfavorable neurological outcome, potentially linked to incomplete recanalization after IVT.

Predictors of poor outcome despite recanalization: a multiple regression analysis of the NASA registry
Conclusions Age, occlusion site, high NIHSS, diabetes, no IV t-PA, ≥3 passes, and use of rescue therapy are associated with poor 90-day outcome despite successful recanalization.

P-006 evaluation of baseline ct aspects and admission neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio in perfusion-guided selected ica/mca stroke patients for endovascular reperfusion therapy
ConclusionsIn our cohort, baseline CT ASPECTS inversely correlated with admission NLR in anterior circulation AIS patients who had favorable perfusion imaging profile for IA reperfusion therapy. Additionally, in this subgroup of patients, NLR of 5 or less discriminated favorable from unfavorable ASPECTS.DisclosuresA. Honarmand: None. A. Shaibani: None. F. Syed: None. A. Elmokadem: None. M. P-016 role of balloon guiding catheter in mechanical thrombectomy using stentretrivers subgroup analysis of swift prime
ConclusionBGC use in the SWIFT PRIME cohort of patients treated with rTPA and mechanical thrombectomy with Solitaire demonstrated significantly lower infarct size and higher reperfusion rates at 27 h. Overall procedure times were shorter for BGC group. These findings suggest that there is likely benefit from use of BGC when treating AIS with mechanical thrombectomy; however, randomized trials are required to confirm this finding.Abstract P-016 Table 1Distribution of variables among BGC and no BGC group Characteristic No BGC BGC Total p-value Number394887Age (years)61.8 ± 13.566.8 ± 11.764.6 ± 12....

E-125 microembolism after endovascular coiling of unruptured cerebral aneurysms: incidence and risk factors
ConclusionThe incidence of microembolism after endovascular coiling of UIA was not low. Lesions occurred more frequently in patients with vascular status associated with old age, diabetes and previous stroke. The multiplicity of aneurysms and the type of stent used for treatment also influenced lesion occurrence.DisclosuresJ. Park: None. D. Lee: None. J. Ahn: None. B. Kwun: None.

Methamphetamine use is an independent predictor of poor outcome after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage
Conclusions Methamphetamine users have significantly worse outcomes at 1 and 3 years following aSAH. Further analysis is necessary to understand the pathological response associated with methamphetamine use in this setting.

Predictors and clinical relevance of hemorrhagic transformation after endovascular therapy for anterior circulation large vessel occlusion strokes: a multicenter retrospective analysis of 1122 patients
Conclusions Greater understanding about the predictors and consequences of ICH post endovascular stroke therapy is essential to improve risk assessment, patient selection/clinical outcomes, and early prognostication. Our data suggest that patients with atrial fibrillation are particularly prone to severe ICH and question the ‘benign’ nature of HI suggested by earlier studies.

The golden hour of stroke intervention: effect of thrombectomy procedural time in acute ischemic stroke on outcome
Conclusions Our findings suggest that extending mechanical thrombectomy procedure times beyond 60 min increases complications and device cost rates while worsening outcomes. These findings can serve as a time frame of when it is prudent to abort a failed thrombectomy case.
