Characteristics and career outcomes of Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation research fellowship recipients.
CONCLUSIONSThe majority of AANS/NREF research award recipients enter academics as fellowship-trained neurosurgeons, with approximately one-third obtaining NIH funding.
