Outcomes of Surgical Repair of Aberrant Subclavian Arteries in Adults
CONCLUSIONS: KD Aortic Origin Diameter correlates with number of symptoms, and surgical repair of ASCA and descending aorta origin/KD effectively relieves symptoms with low rates of reintervention. Type-A Aortic Dissection Repair in Patients With Prior Cardiac Surgery
CONCLUSIONS: Major adverse events after surgery for acute type A aortic dissection were more frequent in patients with previous cardiac surgery. Previous cardiac surgery itself was not an independent predictor for adverse events, although the small sample size precludes definite conclusions. Cardiac Operations after Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement
CONCLUSIONS: Cardiac operations after TAVR are increasing and interval between TAVR and operation decreasing. Most cardiac operations are complex, high-risk reoperations and isolated AVR rare. Risk Factors for Perioperative Morbidity in Adults Undergoing Cardiac Surgery at Children's Hospitals
CONCLUSIONS: In this analysis of postoperative ACHD care in pediatric CICUs, high complexity operations, >3 previous sternotomies, preoperative arrhythmias, renal dysfunction, and respiratory failure are associated with prolonged LOS and/or major complications.
