The correlation between recurrent risk and CYP2C19 gene polymorphisms in patients with ischemic stroke treated with clopidogrel for prevention
Conclusion:
For patients with IS treated with clopidogrel regularly for secondary prevention, poor metabolizer, and intermediate metabolizer patients had higher risk of recurrent stroke comparing with extensive metabolize ones. Carrying CYP2C19 LOF allele is an independent risk factor of stroke recurrence in patients with IS.

Efficacy and safety of clopidogrel and/or aspirin for ischemic stroke/transient ischemic attack: An overview of systematic reviews and meta-analysis
Conclusions:
High-quality evidence suggested that clopidogrel plus aspirin was more efficient than monotherapy, although the risk for hemorrhagic stroke was relatively higher in combined therapy regimens lasting>1 month.

Dissection extending from extra- to intracranial arteries: A case report of progressive ischemic stroke
We reported a rare case of 33-year-old patient with progressive ischemic stroke due to dissection from an intimal tear in the right proximal internal carotid artery to distal middle cerebral artery.
Diagnoses: 3D fat-saturated T1 VISTA imaging, owing to its comprehensive neck and head coverage, high spatial resolution, enables the reader to have several sections with good contrast covering the dissected arterial segment, even in the rare dissection involving extra- and intra-cranial arteries referred in this article.

Ischemic stroke in the combined territories of the septum pellucidum and the cingulate gyrus: A case report and literature review
Conclusions:
Infarction in the septum pellucidum and cingulate gyrus is rare and has atypical clinical manifestations. Physical examination may not yield obvious positive signs. False-negative computed tomography findings of the head may result in misdiagnosis. Thus, it is necessary to perform whole-brain magnetic resonance imaging in time. Moreover, ScA protection should be paid attention to during surgery for anterior communicating artery aneurysm.

Association of clopidogrel high on-treatment reactivity with clinical outcomes and gene polymorphism in acute ischemic stroke patients: An observational study

The safety and efficacy of oral anticoagulants with dual versus single antiplatelet therapy in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention: A meta-analysis
Conclusion: In patients on OAC undergoing PCI with stent implantation, compared with DT, TT shows equal effectiveness in terms of MACE, stroke, all-cause mortality, and stent thrombosis and lower risks of myocardial infarction and major bleeding. However, similar efficacy and safety outcomes were observed between the TT group and the OAC along with clopidogrel group.
