Case report: Rapid improvement of crossed cerebellar diaschisis after intravascular laser irradiation of blood in a case of stroke
Rationale: Crossed cerebellar diaschisis (CCD) is a poor prognostic factor after stroke because without immediate cerebral reperfusion no further improvements in the patient's condition can be achieved. We investigated the clinical effects of intravascular laser irradiation therapy (ILIB) on CCD and evaluated the therapeutic effect in the sub-acute post-stroke stage.

Efficacy and safety of clopidogrel and/or aspirin for ischemic stroke/transient ischemic attack: An overview of systematic reviews and meta-analysis
Conclusions:
High-quality evidence suggested that clopidogrel plus aspirin was more efficient than monotherapy, although the risk for hemorrhagic stroke was relatively higher in combined therapy regimens lasting>1 month.

An investigation into the impact of enteric coated of aspirin in patients with newly diagnosed ischemic stroke (ECASIS)
Discussion:
This trial will determine potential differences in the efficacy of EC Aspirin and plain Aspirin on the Thromboxane B2 level. Additionally, it will ascertain the tolerability and safety of both formulations of Aspirin in patients with newly diagnosed ischemic stroke. These results will either support the current notion of no difference between the two formulations. However, if a difference is found, this will invite for future trials exploring clinical outcomes occurrence between various formulations.

Effects of atorvastatin and aspirin on post-stroke epilepsy and usage of levetiracetam
Conclusion:
Atorvastatin and aspirin co-treatment with levetiracetam can reduce epilepsy in PSE patients and reduce the dosage of levetiracetam required for effective control of PSE.

Ischemic stroke in the combined territories of the septum pellucidum and the cingulate gyrus: A case report and literature review
Conclusions:
Infarction in the septum pellucidum and cingulate gyrus is rare and has atypical clinical manifestations. Physical examination may not yield obvious positive signs. False-negative computed tomography findings of the head may result in misdiagnosis. Thus, it is necessary to perform whole-brain magnetic resonance imaging in time. Moreover, ScA protection should be paid attention to during surgery for anterior communicating artery aneurysm.

Over-the-counter analgesic powder use in patients presenting with intracerebral hemorrhage: A case series
Conclusions:
Over-the-counter analgesic powders containing high doses of aspirin including BC Powder and Goody's Powder may contribute to ICH in patients with no or minimal risk factors. Providers should inquire about the use of these powders in ICH patients particularly among African Americans.

Efficacy and safety of dual antiplatelet therapy after percutaneous coronary drug-eluting stenting: A network meta-analysis
Conclusions:
S-DAPT + P2Y12 has the lowest bleeding risk, while L-DAPT has the highest bleeding risk. In the outcome of MI, stent thrombosis, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular adverse events, L-DAPT has the best efficacy. In the outcome of stroke and all-cause mortality, the 4 interventions were equally effective.
