Predictors of functional level and quality of life at 6 months after a first-ever stroke: the KOSCO study
In conclusion, proper treatment to achieve maximal functional gain at discharge may be an important factor in improving functional independency and QOL in chronic stage stroke survivors. These results provide useful information for establishing comprehensive and systematic care for stroke patients.

ConclusionsOur data suggest that a lack of circadian HR modulation, specifically nocturnal non-dipping, is associated with short-term unfavorable functional outcome after stroke, and that including HR into machine learning-based prediction models may lead to improved stroke outcome prediction.

Primary ‘dehydration’ and acute stroke: a systematic research review
ConclusionsWe found considerable variation in terminology specific to hydration status, diagnostic approach to dehydration, and few prospective studies of treatment strategies with varying results. This review supports the need for consensus development of operational diagnostic criteria, standardization of language, and the opportunity for prospective study of rehydration strategies to impact outcome after stroke.
