Secondary stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation: a challenge in the clinical practice
Background: Despite clear evidence for the effectiveness of oral anticoagulation (OA) in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF), there is evidence for the underutilisation of this therapy in the secondary stroke prevention.
