Conclusion: Improved cardiorespiratory fitness, strength, balance and mobility provide preliminary evidence of the trainability of individuals with both DS and stroke. Future studies are warranted to investigate the role of exercise in risk factor reduction for primary and secondary prevention of stroke in people with DS. Benefits of an interdisciplinary stroke clinic: addressing a gap in physical therapy at post-stroke neurology follow-up

CONCLUSION: This audit provides an initial picture of the current adherence of physical therapy assessment and management with the stroke physical therapy guideline at a tertiary rehabilitation hospital in the state of Qatar. Explicit versus implicit lower extremity sensory retraining for post-stroke chronic sensory deficits: a randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSIONS: Sensory rehabilitation treatment by either ESR or IRE led to similar clinically significant changes in the performance of the lower extremity and participation in subjects with sensory loss post-stroke. Effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation on lower extremity spasticity and motor function in stroke patients.
CONCLUSION: Low-frequency rTMS over the LE motor area can improve clinical measures of muscle spasticity and motor function. More studies are needed to clarify the changes underlying this improvement in spasticity. Effect of myofeedback on the threshold of the stretch reflex response of post-stroke spastic patients.
Conclusion The myofeedback training provided a significant contribution to conventional treatment, allowing for a better improvement of the spastic condition. Implications for rehabilitation Biofeedback is an effective means of improving motor control of post-stroke spastic patients. The Tonic Stretch Reflex Threshold is a more sensitive quantitative measure to assess upper-limb post-stroke spasticity.
