Measurements of the centre of pressure of individual legs reveal new characteristics of reduced anticipatory postural adjustments during gait initiation in patients with post-stroke hemiplegia
CONCLUSION: Measurements of the latency and magnitude of centre of pressure displacement peak individually for the paretic and non-paretic legs can help elucidate the mechanism behind reduced anticipatory postural adjustments. Fatigue in men and women who have returned to work after stroke - as assessed by the Fatigue Severity Scale and the Mental Fatigue Scale
CONCLUSION: Fatigue is common among persons who have returned to work after stroke, and interferes with daily life. The long-term consequences of fatigue should be addressed after stroke, especially in women.
