Conclusions: Our study found that lower serum calcium levels were common among patients with CS and osteoporosis. Furthermore, CS patients with HF or stroke had high proportion of hypocalcemia. Therefore, these patients must pay more attention to adequate calcium supplementation and undergo the appropriate osteoporosis drug treatment to reduce the risk of subsequent fracture and disability.

Conclusion: PPD was associated with a significantly higher rate of suicide and a shorter time to suicide after childbirth. Younger age, winter, and subclinical depression and anxiety positively predicted suicide in the study cohort. To prevent maternal suicide, clinicians should be observant of subclinical depression and anxiety symptoms among patients.

Conclusions: Consistent with the NHI’s general effectiveness in ensuring fair, universally accessible, and high-quality health care services in Taiwan, the health care quality of patients examined in this study did not vary significantly overall between July and non-July months. However, a longer hospitalization length was observed for weekend admissions, possibly due to limitations in personnel and resource allocations during weekends. Conclusion: Older adults who have two, rather than one or greater than three chronic diseases, have significantly lower GSs than those who are healthy.
