Stroke survivors' perspectives on recovering in rural and remote Australia: A systematic mixed studies review
CONCLUSION: Stroke survivors recovering in rural and remote locations want to live their life by doing what matters to them, despite the challenges they face. They want support in ways that work for them in their environment. Cross-sectional survey of rehabilitation service availability for stroke and hip fracture in Australian public hospitals

Patient-Led Mass Screening for Atrial Fibrillation in the Older Population Using Handheld Electrocardiographic Devices Integrated With a Clinician-Coordinated Remote Central Monitoring System: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial and Process Evaluation
CONCLUSIONS: By incorporating an integrated health care approach involving patient empowerment, centralized clinician-coordinated ECG monitoring, and facilitation of primary care and specialist services, it is possible to diagnose and treat AF early to reduce stroke risk. A systematic review of Australian articles was performed using MEDLINE (OVID) and INFORMIT online databases from 1990 to 2016.
