This study sought to determine the time of onset of symptoms to the time a CT imaging was done among patients presenting with acute stroke at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

Cohort of renal infarction during 2years at Grenoble teaching hospital.
CONCLUSION: Delay of diagnosis is a real problem for renal infarction, and need to be evocated every flank pain. LDH elevation may help clinician to suggest renal infarction and lead to CT scan. Association of delayed inflammatory syndrome, hypertension and hypokalemia after flank pain strongly suggest renal infarction. PMID: 27180563 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Duplex ultrasound: Indications and findings in a newly created facility at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar
Conclusion: Duplex ultrasound has been shown to diagnose varied vascular pathologies even in a locale where it is a relatively new technique. It is recommended that timely referrals be made, and mobile Doppler units be acquired to save more lives and limbs in the developing world.
