Cerebrovascular Events in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
ConclusionCerVEs, the fourth most frequent NP event in SLE, are usually attributable to lupus. In contrast to good physician reported outcomes, patients report a sustained reduction in health‐related quality of life following CerVEs.This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.

Risk of Myocardial Infarction and Stroke in Newly Diagnosed Systemic Lupus Erythematosus: A General Population ‐Based Study
Conclusion: Patients with SLE have an increased risk of cardiovascular events, particularly during the first year after diagnosis. Increased vigilance in monitoring for these potentially fatal outcomes and their modifiable risk factors is recommended in this patient population. This article is protected by copyright. Disease Outcomes and Care Fragmentation among Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Conclusion: In this cross‐site cohort of SLE patients, care fragmentation is associated with increased risk of severe infection and comorbidities. These results suggest that improved health information exchange could positively impact outcomes for SLE patients. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.

Comorbidities in patients with Primary Sj ögren's Syndrome and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus: A comparative registries‐based study
Conclusions: pSS patients have consistently less serious CV comorbidity burden and a lower prevalence of severe infection than those with SLE. In contrast, their risk of lymphoma was greater. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.

Does Renin ‐Angiotensin System Blockade Protect Lupus Nephritis Patients From Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Events? A Case–Control Study
ConclusionOur data do not support the hypothesis that ACE inhibitors/ARBs may be protective against atherosclerotic CVEs in LN patients.

What to Expect When Expecting With Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE): A Population‐Based Study of Maternal and Fetal Outcomes in SLE and Pre‐SLE
ConclusionOur data demonstrate that adverse maternal and fetal outcomes are more common in SLE pregnancies. Furthermore, these unfavorable outcomes are observed in pregnancies occurring prior to the diagnosis of SLE. Thus, the underlying immunologic profile of SLE and alterations preceding clinical SLE may contribute to these pregnancy complications.

Estimated Frequency of Antiphospholipid Antibodies in Patients With Pregnancy Morbidity, Stroke, Myocardial Infarction, and Deep Vein Thrombosis: A Critical Review of the Literature
ConclusionIt is difficult to determine the frequency of a “clinically significant aPL profile” in patients with aPL‐related clinical outcomes due to the lack of robust data. Our best estimates of the incidence of aPL‐associated events should be confirmed with appropriately designed population studies.
