Post-PCI Risk Assessment by Inflammation Activity According to Disease Acuity and Time from Procedure
CONCLUSION: AMI patients have greater inflammation during the early and late phases than non-AMI patients. Risk phenotype of hsCRPbaseline correlates with 1-month outcomes only in AMI patients. Impact of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation on Thrombin Generation and Platelet Function
CONCLUSION: In this pilot study, we were able to demonstrate that thrombin generation is significantly increased early after TAVI, while platelet function is not affected. Increased thrombin concentrations may contribute to the high risk of postprocedural thromboembolic events. Contemporary antiplatelet treatment in acute coronary syndrome patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention: One-year outcomes from the GReek AntiPlatelet Registry (GRAPE).
