Update on Breast Cancer Risk Reduction Therapy
Abstract In women at increased risk of breast cancer age ≥35 years, the selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) tamoxifen should be discussed as an option to reduce the risk of estrogen receptor (ER)-positive breast cancer. In postmenopausal women, raloxifene, anastrozole, and exemestane should also be discussed as options for breast cancer risk reduction.
