Development of Prediction Model Using Machine-Learning Algorithms for Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug-Induced Gastric Ulcer in Osteoarthritis Patients: Retrospective Cohort Study of a Nationwide South Korean Cohort
CONCLUSIONS: We obtained a prediction model for NSAID-induced gastric ulcers using the GBM method. Since personal prescription period and the severity of comorbidities were considered numerically, individual patients' risk could be well reflected. The prediction model showed high performance and interpretability, so it is meaningful to both clinicians and NSAID users.PMID:37529187 | PMC:PMC10375806 | DOI:10.4055/cios22240

Comparison of Long-term Outcomes between Nonoperative Treatment and Vascularized Bone Graft for Kienb öck Disease: A Systematic Review and Single-Arm Meta-Analysis
CONCLUSIONS: The VBG group showed greater improvement in the radiographic stage and wrist pain than did the nonoperative treatment group after treatment, but meaningful differences in parameters were not observed. Further well-designed studies are needed to confirm the superiority of VBG to nonoperative treatment regarding radiographic and clinical outcomes.PMID:37529196 | PMC:PMC10375810 | DOI:10.4055/cios22307
