Hepatitis C Nosode: The preparation and homeopathic pathogenetic trial.
CONCLUSION: An improved method of nosode preparation was used. A double blind, randomized placebo controlled pathogenetic trial of the Hep C nosode generated guiding symptoms, which may facilitate its prescription in practice. The nosode should be further explored for the treatment of immunologically mediated diseases, infections including Hep C, fibrotic pathology and chronic inflammatory disorders. Hepatoprotective effect of Lycopodium clavatum 30CH on experimental model of paracetamol-induced liver damage in rats.
CONCLUSION: Lyc 30c exerted a moderate hepatoprotective effect on acute Pct-induced hepatitis, mainly shown by a histological decrease in necrosis and inflammatory foci, preserved glycogen and other 1,2-glycols in zone 3 and reduced serum levels of ALT and AST. PMID: 25576269 [PubMed - in process]

Quantitative and Qualitative Pathogenetic Indices for Review of Data Derived from Homeopathic Pathogenetic Trials.
CONCLUSION:  The symptoms exhibited by volunteers in the verum arm were more numerous and more intense than those in the placebo arm. An innovative and logical method of reporting of symptoms and analysis has been introduced by the use of these pathogenetic indices, which can be used in future as measurement tools for analysis of data from HPTs. Liver injury: the therapeutic dilemma of homeopathy - a case report from Bangladesh
Ann Med Surg (Lond). 2023 May 22;85(7):3642-3645. doi: 10.1097/MS9.0000000000000918. eCollection 2023 Jul.ABSTRACTDespite the lack of scientific evidence supporting its effectiveness, homeopathic treatment is increasingly being used as a form of alternative medicine, with many people taking homeopathic remedies instead of drug therapies. It is based on the principle of 'like cures like', meaning that a remedy similar to the illness can be used to treat it. However, there have been several reports suggesting the risks of homeopathic remedies, among which homeopathy-induced liver injury is widely discussed. Here, we report a...

An Attempt to Estimate the Noises in Homeopathic Pathogenetic Trials by Employing the Jaccard Similarity Index and Noise Index
CONCLUSION: The Jaccard similarity index and the Noise index might be considered an additional approach for analyzing the symptoms of the placebo group as a comparator, resulting in better noise segregation in homeopathic pathogenetic trials.PMID:34959246 | DOI:10.1055/s-0041-1735983
