Lannett enters into distribution deal for ADHD drug
Lannett Co. Inc., two months after announcing the loss of a major distribution deal, said Monday it has entered into an agreement with Adare Pharmaceuticals Inc. to be the exclusive U.S. distributor of dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride extended release capsules.
Dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride is a stimulant used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The drug has an estimated market value of about $620 million according to IMS, a pharmaceutical data company.
