Midwives' occupational wellbeing and its determinants. A cross-sectional study among newly qualified and experienced Dutch midwives
CONCLUSIONS: A relatively small percentage of Dutch midwives reported burnout symptoms, the work engagement of Dutch midwives was very high. However, a relatively large number reported symptoms of exhaustion, which is concerning because of the risk of increasing cynicism levels leading to burnout. In contrast to previous international research findings, being young and having less working experience was not related to burnout symptoms of Dutch newly qualified midwives.IMPLICATIONS FOR PRACTICE: The recognition of job and personal resources for midwives' occupational wellbeing must be considered for a sustainable midwifery ...

Initial insights from a quality improvement initiative to develop an evidence-informed young adult substance use program

Early alcohol onset: clinical and demographic characteristics of service-seeking youth
CONCLUSION: The present study identifies unique and clinically significant differences among youth who initiated alcohol use in early adolescence compared to later in adolescence. Weight outcomes for adolescents with atypical anorexia nervosa in family-based treatment

Does the Protrusion of Corticobasal Implants in the Maxillary Sinuses Affect Sinus Health? A Retrospective Study
CONCLUSION: Penetration of corticobasal implants in the maxillary sinus did not compromise the health of the maxillary sinus or implant survival rate.CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Limited posterior maxillary bony support and maxillary sinus pneumatization present challenges in implant dentistry and increase the possibility of implant protrusion inside the maxillary and nasal cavities.
