Systemic arterial calcium burden in patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia
CONCLUSIONS: In CLTI patients nearly all arterial territories are severely calcified, suggesting that systemic calcification plays an important role in the poor outcome of this disease.PMID:37150661 | DOI:10.1016/j.jcct.2023.03.003

Streamlined Carotid Artery Calcification Labeling For Cta Scans
Introduction: We require vast amounts of manually labeled calcifications to train advanced machine learning classifiers for carotid artery plaque detection and phenotyping high-risk calcifications for ischemic stroke patients. We developed CTOOL, a web-based software for streamlined calcium labeling with minimal user interaction.

AI-Guided Quantitative Plaque Staging Predicts Long-Term Cardiovascular Outcomes in Patients at Risk for Atherosclerotic CVD
CONCLUSIONS: Through 10-year follow-up, AI-QCT plaque staging showed important prognostic value for MACE and showed additional discriminatory value over clinical risk factors, CACS, and manual guideline-recommended CCTA assessment.PMID:37480907 | DOI:10.1016/j.jcmg.2023.05.020
