Viruses, Vol. 14, Pages 2515: Case Fatality of Hospitalized Patients with COVID-19 Infection Suffering from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome in Germany
Conclusions: The case fatality of COVID-19 patients with ARDS is dramatically high and shows relevant regional disparities. Our findings may help to draw more attention to predictors for in-hospital case fatality in patients hospitalized with COVID-19 and suffering from ARDS.

Clinical, cerebrospinal fluid, and neuroimaging findings in COVID-19 encephalopathy: a case series
ConclusionIn our consecutive series with 43 encephalopathy cases, neuroimaging and CSF analysis did not support the role of direct viral CNS invasion or CNS inflammation as the cause of encephalopathy.

Ischemic stroke and purpuric dermatitis as COVID-19-related complications in a peritoneal dialysis patient
AbstractPatients on dialysis may have an elevated risk of severe coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and its complications due to their high prevalence of comorbidities. Here we describe the case of an 80-year-old male undergoing peritoneal dialysis with a moderate SARS-CoV-2 infection who developed a purpuric dermatitis and ischemic stroke after successful recovery from his bilateral pneumonia.
