Efficacy and Safety of Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Dipyridamole Injection for Ischemic Stroke: A Systematic Review and Meta Analysis
Conclusion: Evidence from the meta-analysis suggested that the combination of conventional treatments and GDI is safe and more effective in treating ischemic stroke than conventional treatments alone. Therefore, GDI mediated therapy could be recommended as an adjuvant treatment for ischemic stroke.

Long Non-Coding RNA H19 Positively Associates With Aspirin Resistance in the Patients of Cerebral Ischemic Stroke
ConclusionsH19 is closely associated with aspirin resistance, and H19 probably induces aspirin resistance through increasing the production of 8-iso-prostaglandin-2α. Besides which, H19 may serve as a serological marker for diagnosing aspirin resistance with high specificity and sensitivity, and the test of H19 could give clues to the recurrence of ischemic stroke.

Hospitalization Expenditures and Out-Of-Pocket Expenses in Patients With Stroke in Northeast China, 2015 –2017: A Pooled Cross-Sectional Study
Conclusion: Stroke imposes a heavy financial burden on both patients and society in Liaoning Province, Northeast China. Results showed that there are some differences in the individual and social economic burden among different types of stroke. In addition, stroke patients share a high proportion of costs through OOP expenses, especially for poor social-economic status patients. Targeted intervention measures and specific policies are needed to reduce the individual and social economic burden of stroke as well as improve equity in health care among different social groups.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Reduces the Incidence of Chemotherapy-Induced Stroke: A Five-Year Nationwide Population-Based Cohort Study From Taiwan
Conclusion: These Taiwanese data suggest that chemotherapy is a risk factor for stroke and that the use of TCM can significantly mitigate this risk. TCM also appears to reduce the mortality risk associated with chemotherapy.

A Network-Based Approach to Investigate the Neuroprotective Effects and Mechanisms of Action of Huangqi-Chuanxiong and Sanleng-Ezhu Herb Pairs in the Treatment of Cerebral Ischemic Stroke
Conclusion: We identified a new treatment formulation for ischemic stroke by data mining and network pharmacological target prediction. The beneficial effects of the new formulation act by regulating multiple target genes and pathways. The mechanism of action of the new formulation may be related to the AKT and ERK signaling pathways. Our findings provide a theoretical basis for the effects of the new formulation on ischemic stroke injury.

Conclusion: Between 2004 and 2022, the terms “neurogenesis,” “angiogenesis,” “mesenchymal stem cells,” “extracellular vesicle,” “exosomes,” “inflammation,” and “oxidative stress” have emerged as the hot research areas for research on stem cells in stroke. Although stem cells exert a number of positive effects, the main mechanisms for mitigating the damage caused by stroke are still unknown. Clinical challenges may include complicating factors that can affect the efficacy of stem cell therapy, which are worth a deep exploration.

Prospective Study About the Relationship Between CEUS of Carotid Intraplaque Neovascularization and Ischemic Stroke in TIA Patients
Conclusion For carotid plaques, CEUS could evaluate the infusion mode of them, which could reflect the neovascularization in plaques. CEUS could predict the incurrence of ischemic stroke or recurrence of TIA in TIA patients, which was useful information for clinical decision.
