Transdiagnostic MRI markers of psychopathology following traumatic brain injury: a systematic review and network meta-analysis protocol
Introduction Psychopathology following traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a common and debilitating consequence that is often associated with reduced functional and psychosocial outcomes. There is a lack of evidence regarding the neural underpinnings of psychopathology following TBI, and whether there may be transdiagnostic neural markers that are shared across traditional psychiatric diagnoses. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to examine the association of MRI-derived markers of brain structure and function with both transdiagnostic and specific psychopathology following moderate–severe TBI. Meth...

Higher versus lower fractions of inspired oxygen or targets of arterial oxygenation for adults admitted to the intensive care unit
CONCLUSIONS: In adult ICU patients, it is still not possible to draw clear conclusions about the effects of higher versus lower oxygenation strategies on all-cause mortality, SAEs, quality of life, lung injuries, myocardial infarction, stroke, and sepsis at maximum follow-up. This is due to low or very low-certainty evidence.PMID:37700687 | DOI:10.1002/14651858.CD012631.pub3

A randomised trial of < sup > 18 < /sup > FPSMA-1007-PET/CT versus NaF-PET/CT for staging primary prostate cancer: A trial protocol
BJUI Compass. 2023 May 12;4(5):513-522. doi: 10.1002/bco2.243. eCollection 2023 Sep.ABSTRACTBACKGROUND: Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-positron emission tomography/contrast-enhanced computed tomography (PET/CT) is a sensitive imaging modality for prostate cancer (PCa). Due to lack of knowledge of the patient benefit, PSMA-PET/CT is not yet recommended in the European guidelines for staging and treatment planning of patients with newly diagnosed PCa. We will investigate the potential difference in progression-free survival (PFS) and quality of life (QoL) of using PSMA-PET/CT versus sodium fluoride (NaF)-PET/CT fo...

Original Research: Nurse-Reported Missed Care and Its Association with Staff Demographics and the Work Environment
CONCLUSION: This study demonstrated evidence of NRMC and its associated factors within the local setting. In addition to expanding nursing resources, analyzing nursing work processes, providing support for younger nurses, and improving nursing satisfaction are possible mitigating factors in preventing missed care. Strategies targeting workforce and resource management, greater support for new and younger nurses, and job satisfaction should be considered to address missed care.PMID:37615466 | DOI:10.1097/01.NAJ.0000978144.33445.5b
