Would a 6-Month Wait Time for Patients With Hepatocellular Carcinoma Improve Organ Allocation in Centers With Active Living Related Liver Transplant Activity?
CONCLUSIONS: This study suggests that implementation of the 6-month wait time for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma before granting exception points may not be necessary for active living related liver transplant programs.
