The Morning Report Practice and Its Contribution to Education of Internal Medicine Residents: A Multicenter Cross-Sectional Survey in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
CONCLUSION: MR was found to be a commonly practiced educational activity in internal medicine residency training programs in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. The case discussion was the core format for education. The respondents' motivation to participate in MR and their perception of its contribution to education was predominantly intermediate. Legal and Bioethical Educational Module in Saudi Board of Emergency Medicine: A Qualitative Need Assessment"
CONCLUSION: The study found that the current educational initiatives for legal and bioethical topics in SBEM are insufficient. There are no clear learning objectives, study guides, or combined practices for trainees to develop safe approaches when faced with ethical and legal challenges. A comprehensive protocol with required competencies and dedicated educators may help trainees understand Islamic ethics and jurisprudence principles for delivering culturally sensitive and patient-centered care. Further studies and needs assessments are recommended.PMID:37255849 | PMC:PMC10226544 | DOI:10.2147/AMEP.S397475

Student to nurse transition and the nurse residency program: A qualitative study of new graduate perceptions
CONCLUSION: The themes that emerged indicate that the journey from student to registered nurse is complicated and multidimensional. These findings imply that structures and practices meant to promote the shift, such as the residency program, can help new nurses have a better transition experience.PMID:36150861 | DOI:10.1016/j.profnurs.2022.07.007
