Introduction JTR-161 is a novel allogeneic human cell product consisting of dental pulp stem cells isolated from the extracted teeth of healthy adults. It is currently under development as a cell-based therapy for ischaemic stroke. The aim of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of JTR-161 in patients with acute ischaemic stroke when given as a single intravenous administration within 48 hours of symptom onset. Efficacy and Safety of REVIVE SE Thrombectomy Device for Acute Ischemic Stroke: River JAPAN (Reperfuse Ischemic Vessels with Endovascular Recanalization Device in Japan).
We present our early experience with REVIVE for revascularization of acute ischemic stroke (AIS) in patients who have failed or are ineligible for intravenous recombinant tissue plasminogen activator treatment. This prospective, single-arm, non-randomized, multicenter registry study followed up patients undergoing mechanical thrombectomy with REVIVE for 90 days. Investigation of Mechanical Thrombectomy in Elderly Patients over 85 Years Old: A Multicenter Study
This study examined the usefulness of thrombectomy in the elderly. We retrospectively analyzed patient data using a multicenter acute ischemic stroke registry (NGT-FAST). We examined outcomes in patients 75 years and older who underwent thrombectomies between January 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021. The patients were divided into two groups: the 75-84-year-old group and the 85+-year-old group.
