First multicentric real-life experience with the combination of CCNU and temozolomide in newly diagnosed < em > MGMT < /em > promoter methylated < em > IDH < /em > wildtype glioblastoma
CONCLUSIONS: The results from this multicentric trial indicate that-under real-life conditions-toxicity and survival estimates are comparable to the CeTeG/NOA-09 trial. TTFields therapy for at least eight weeks in combination with this regimen was independently associated with prolonged survival.PMID:36284931 | PMC:PMC9583686 | DOI:10.1093/noajnl/vdac137

Lung toxicity of lomustine in the treatment of progressive gliomas
CONCLUSIONS: Our findings support to limit lung function analyses on CCNU to patients with gliomas and pulmonary risk factors. However, all patients should be closely followed for clinical symptoms of pulmonary restriction.PMID:35664555 | PMC:PMC9155160 | DOI:10.1093/noajnl/vdac068

Effectiveness of bortezomib and temozolomide for eradication of recurrent human glioblastoma cells, resistant to radiation
CONCLUSIONS: Bortezomib and temozolomide effectively destroy cells of a radioresistant recurrent human glioblastoma; proteome mapping of the recurrent GBM cancer cells allows to identify new targets for therapy to improve the treatment results.PMID:34689859 | DOI:10.1016/bs.pbr.2021.06.010
