Cardiogenic shock in adults with congenital heart disease: Insights from the FRENSHOCK registry
CONCLUSIONS: Cardiogenic shock in ACHD patients is rare, accounting for only 0.9% of an unselected cardiogenic shock population. Despite being younger and having fewer co-morbidities, the prognosis of ACHD patients with cardiogenic shock remains severe, and is similar to that of other patients.PMID:37598062 | DOI:10.1016/j.acvd.2023.06.008

Budget Impact Analysis of Expanding Gliflozin Coverage in the CKD Population: A French Perspective
CONCLUSION: In concert with early diagnosis and proactive management of CKD, the expansion of the gliflozin indications into the French CKD population presents the opportunity to reduce the substantial burden associated with cardio-renal complications which outweighs the additional cost of the new treatment. Transportation of patients under extracorporeal membrane oxygenation support on an airliner: Flying bridge to transplantation
CONCLUSIONS: Transport under extracorporeal membrane oxygenation support on an airliner is safe and efficient, with an acceptable cost. This programme allowed patients under extracorporeal membrane oxygenation support in a remote centre, without access to transplantation or a ventricular assist device, to be referred for these techniques in specialized centres. This experience strengthens the strategy of developing regional networks around specialized extracorporeal membrane oxygenation centres.PMID:37271651 | DOI:10.1016/j.acvd.2023.05.003
