Association between poly-sensitisation and sensitisation to staphylococcal enterotoxin A and B affecting allergic severity in children
ConclusionsAssociation between polysensitisation and sensitisation to SEs in children shows the higher the specific IgE levels for SEs, the higher the likelihood of polysensitisation. Considering the relationship between polysensitisation, high IgE levels, and the severity of allergic morbidity, sensitisation to SEs is thought to be related to allergy severity.

The Role of Positron Emission Tomography for the Management of Sinonasal Malignancies: A Systematic Review
CONCLUSIONS: In general, and across all types of sinonasal malignancies, PET scan yielded positive results regarding detection and initial staging. It was also considered as the modality of choice for detection of distant metastases, except in the case of sinonasal lymphoma. PET scan's main limit resides in its inability to detect lesions in or close to the metabolic activity of the brain.PMID:37229633 | DOI:10.1177/19458924231177854

Doxycycline Improves Quality of Life and Anosmia in Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyposis: A Randomized Controlled Trial
CONCLUSION: Doxycycline improves the quality of life in patients with CRSwNP. It also has temporarily beneficial effects in improving the sense of smell. The levels of eosinophil in the blood and nasal secretions do not affect the response to treatment. Hence, doxycycline can be used in both eosinophilic and non-eosinophilic nasal polyps. This study was registered at Iranian Registry of Clinical Trials. https://www.irct.ir/ IRCTID: IRCT20210403050817N1.PMID:36740870 | DOI:10.1177/19458924231154066
